The Parish DAY OF SERVICE is coming up on Saturday, January 29^th.  This one-day event will offer a variety of service projects for all ages.  Everything will be hosted right here on the campus of St. Angela Merici.  If you have a teen preparing for Confirmation and in need of service hours, this is a great opportunity to get those in!  And, if you aren’t able to join us that day, there is still an opportunity to help… just see below for other ways to participate.
 
So, what kinds of projects will we be doing?
 

• Touch-up paint in the Parish Life Center
• Touch-up paint in the St. Angela Merici Room (at the church)
• Clean the pews in the church
• Clean up the garden area surrounding the Blessed Mother statue
• Stain and seal benches around the walking Rosary
• Assemble bench for Mother’s Day Out
• Re-paint bench
• Assemble sandbox 
• Bag decorating for Lunches of Love
• Card decorating for Veterans (VA Hospital)
• Card decorating for Nursing Home Residents
• Blessing bags for the homeless

Are there other ways to participate?
ABSOLUTELY!  We are in need of several items for the “blessing bags”.  Our goal is to make 96 bags!  We have created an Amazon Wish List to make shopping super easy!
